Dear Marva: I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed last Tuesday evening’s program with Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil. The dinner afterward was wonderful as I had the chance to sit directly across the way from the two and engaged in conversation with Claude-Michel about the magic of music creation and composition. As a fan of both Les Miz and Miss Saigon, it was for me a singular delight. We even discussed opera and Wagner’s Ring at some length.
Thank you so much for all you did to bring them here to UVA. In my mind, you deserve a special medal from the University.

Dear Mrs. Barnett, Thank you so much for setting up the talk with Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil, and for inviting me to lunch today! It was a truly incredible, once in a lifetime experience, and I am still processing everything I heard today and yesterday.
